DC Circuits

After this module you will be able to explain how energy is transferred by the flow of electric charge. You will also start to see how some circuits can be used to control other devices.

You will be able to explain what waves are and how we test for waves. You will also be able to describe how different types of waves are set up, the difference between EM waves and learn about a classic wave experiment: Young's Double Slits.

Quantum Physics

This is probably the first unit in your A Level course that is brand new physics to most of you. You will be able to describe another classic experiment: The Photoelectric Effect, and learn how this leads to what we thought we knew about waves being broken into pieces and how this new understanding makes us look at reality in a completely different way!!
